What is Becoming Like Jesus?

What is Becoming More Like Jesus? It’s my (Ben) attempt to help others who feel stuck on the journey of following Jesus to form more into His image. We’re not alone in this and I want to help others in any way possible to take that next step in becoming more like Jesus.

The Sermon on the Mount is one of the set of teachings from whom the 12 disciples would have followed coming from their Rabbi, Jesus. We know Him as Messiah Jesus. In becoming like their master, and Savior, the disciples would have devoted themselves to internalizing this message into the core of who they were. While as followers of Jesus, this is a core teaching we should pay attention to and live out in our lives. Many of the world’s wisest sages are on record talking about the impact the world would experience if everyone would live a Sermon on the Mount lifestyle; loving our enemies, settling differences with adversaries, seeking first His Kingdom and not worrying, and much more.

As followers of Jesus, we are participants in His Kingdom, and this is an attempt to help people become more like Jesus and become the Kingdom worker they were created to be.
